I am stumped on this part of the crafting process. I keep trying to make some Energy Layers and cant figure out what I am doing wrong for crafting them. I am using all uber resources except for my ore. the OQ is 958 however the SR is only 754. I have the entereainer buff and I am a 12pt AS with +25 Assembly. I still use cake and bespin port. The problem I am having is when I go to exp. I can not get past 88% for anything. It keeps capping out there and I keep getting +87 - 86 on my layers. All my other resources have OQ and SR of over 945. Anyone have a thought on this or can help me out?

I think we need more information.
First, resource quality is the ONLY thing that matters in determining your max experimentation percentage. Buffs, food, and tapes don't do a thing there.
Second, I'm curious about the ore you mention. If it's alantium ore for the energy layers, then the shock resistance has a maximum gate of around 115. So I dont' quite understand that 754 figure.
Anyway, better resources is the only way to get higher than 88 percent experimentation.

Yeah, if you can list the resources you're using along with thier OQ and SR, we can help you more.
The named resources have gates, but from your post about ore, you either understand it (and have calculated it to 754) or you are looking at something other than SR.
Oh, and 88% is still enough to get you over the magical +1000 resists, so your armor should still sell.
