For a month I have been trying to find out a few things about RIS. I am very particular since I would like to ADK this armor. However, believe it or not, but some armorsmith think I am just after this for looks. However, I want the best and am willing to spend another month collecting till i find it:
I have all the RIS components and health enhancers. My question is on resources:
I saw that i need:
Titanium Aluminum
Chanlon Intrusive Ore
Rori Fiberplast
Polysteel Copper
Oridium Intrusive Ore
Laboi Mineral Crystal Crystalline Gemstone
Talusian Fiberplast (High OQ+SR+DR)
Chromium Aluminum (High OQ+SR+DR)
Chanlon Intrusive Ore
Rori Fiberplast
Polysteel Copper
Oridium Intrusive Ore
Laboi Mineral Crystal Crystalline Gemstone
Talusian Fiberplast (High OQ+SR+DR)
Chromium Aluminum (High OQ+SR+DR)
SO I am assuming only the Talus fiber and Chromium Alum need quality stats.
However, can I put Primus layers in them and would those resources and stats be this:
Polymer:
OQ
SR:
Fiberflast
OQ:
SR:
Vintrium Extrusive Ore
OQ:
SR:
Nutronium Steel
OQ:
SR:
Perovskitic Aluminum
OQ:
SR:
As you can see, even though I am dumb to your profession, I am trying to understand. I have seen caps listed for resources but not these in particular. I just want to do it right the first time and will work with my armorsmith close by.
Anyone out there who could tell me what my expectations for the best RIS armor is and can it be layered...thank you

what you need now is to put the primus layers in a battle seg, then core. if you check the stickies up top you will see those resource requirements aswell. RIS is a battle armor and still uses battle armor segs and cores. hope that helps you out

Just realize that the protection possible with RIS is no different from any other battle armor. Check with whatever armorsmith you're going to work with on the primus layers. For comparison, the layers I use tend to add around 540 to kinetic and energy resists. Using server best resources, you can get up to 551 points. Ask yourself if those few points are worth the resource kits you might have to burn.

and the stats on the talus fiber and Chromium alu which you listed wont matter. They solely control condition and your slapping an adk on it anyways.

Exactly.
Just find an RIS AS that makes the best primus layers and don't worry about condition.

If its any help to you, I just made some primus layers for a RIS suit. The ending stats were 6564ene, 4846kin, and 6000base (highest on server that I've seen). My energy layers in battle cores are 7154ene, 4864kin, and 6000base. I'm on Radiant.
