Jnata hides are fairly rare. Nightsister fragments (layers pre CU) also enhance battle armor. They drop relatively infrequently as well. Are you sure you are looking for krayts in the right place? They have been all over the place lately on Ahazi, and scales tend to drop more frequently than janta hides or NS fragments.

aye, i'm on that area of the map in tattooine, north of wayfar and to the west. all i see is rolling sands.

Try the krayt graveyard poi and areas near it in the far Northeast. The area north of wayfar is a secondary spawn location where they are seen, but not nearly as frequently as around the graveyard.

I am guessing you have areatrack from your sig. If that is the case, you shoulde be able to find the leeezards near the graveyard pretty easily.
