Thread: 14 Point Smiths. Come the Nerf, they wont be that good.

I am making an assumption that when the armour nerf comes, they will cap the resistance to say... 60%? Now, i doubt they will keep the scale of experimentation points the same.
Let me explain.
If 1exp point increases a kinetic resistance by 4% (I know it isn't actually this, but, for the sake of maths, lets say it is)
If they scale down the armour rather than just cap the resists at the lower point, say 60% again, each exp point will equal 3% increase.
Most people reach the cap of exp so have remainder points. These extra 2/4 exp points will not make as much difference as they do now.
The question is, will 2 or 3% make a difference between how many customers you get?
Although, the period inbetween 14 point ASs and the armour nerf will be a nightmare...

I am hoping that they do. That way HAM costs on armor will be lower.

Of course it will be important. Everyone knows what a massive difference in HAM you get from 10 to 12 points.

No no, you do not understand what I am saying. If composite has a ham of say 600/600/600 now, and 1 Exp point will reduce that by say 5 every time, If they scale it, it will only for instance make 2 HAM difference to every skill. So will it matter THAT much??

As we have no idea what the revamp will entail, this isn't really something that can be answered.
