Thread: 80 kinetic 80 energy
so, what combines of layers have you all found that make this happen
i have tried a few, but havent gottan any to make it all the way......
so, layer stats base/special, and segment stats too if you can
please dont post and say im lazy, because i know i am, but i cant afford to waste resources trying combos out, im too low on resources to do that and too poor to buy more resources

Very good idea, but if its anything like the Corvette, they'll do more than just Energy and Kinetic. I noticed on the Corvette some mobs were armed with EE3's (heat).
I'd prolly concentrate on just getting the base resists as high as possible.
I got to 80/80 with each using:
1 energy layer. 13%/2%
2 Kinetic layers 6%/4%
I'm sure the hidden decimals came into affect too.
Honestly, without knowing your unlayered base I don't have a clue what you would you.
I make unlayered composite that is 56% base. Therefore, I can use two 4/5% Kinetic layers with base maxed and one 4/10 Energy layers and hit 80/80/70 base armor. The virtual armorsmith program will allow you to plug in your resource attributes to experiment if you truly are as poor and resource low as you indicate. As for laziness, you are in the wrong business as an armorsmith if you are lazy. Perhaps that is the reason for being poor? ![]()

lazy is the wrong word, i am basically just too poor, and the virtual armoramith program i have is only usable with triple layered kinetic composite

If you are trying to make 80/80 armor you're going to have to triple layer it. No way around that one for production armor. Therefore, you can use the old virtual armorsmith program to do your testing.
He said it only works with triple layered kinetic, not any 3 layers like you need here.
Anyway, I'm trying to do the same thing, can you guys post the final stats? I think the problem is when I put one of the layers to 13/2 I can only do 62% base, so I'm getting 80 Kin/76 Energy, 62 Base. What base are you guys getting when doing 80 kin/en armor?
