Been searching the forums but haven't gotten a definite answer. I know that things are pretty uncertain and some are rumors but i'm wondering if someone could clarify or give me their advice about my composite suit.

I have a 90% base mint condition composite suit that i've been saving for a special occasion. I've heard that armor, along w/ everything else, is going to be ner- i mean "rebalanced." So i'm not sure what to do. Will my 90% base armor be better than average in comparison to other post-patch composite suits, given that they "rebalance" pre combat revamp armor? Or will existing suit stats remain after the revamp (i really doubt that), or be "proportional" stats-wise to post patch suits? So do you guys recommend:

  • I use or sell my armor in order to make some profit, given that my suit will NOT become proportionally better? In other words when transitioning pre patch suit stats into post patch stats, will my pre patch 90% stats be greater than say a 67% pre-patch stats? (did that make sense?)

  • I keep my suit because it WILL be porportionally better?

I have no idea if that made sense but its a question that I, and several other people have been wondering. Thanks for any input.

You're right in calling it a rebalance because the devs aren't nerfing it. They've already said that great Composite now will be great Composite afterwards. The only thing that you'll have to worry about is whether or not Composite will be the only type of armor you'll need. During the rebalance they may switch around vulnerabilities and how Armor Rating/Armor Piercing works or other such things.

I really doubt that they're just going to change the resist % on all armor and considered the game balanced. It's a full blown revamp, so I'd keep that 90% Composite.

(by the way, I can make 90% Composite now. If you had Composite OVER 90%, then you'd have something rare)

Thanks for the input, but from what i've heard 90% baseis currentlythe cap on the armor. I had a couple of peices around 83-86% base using various looted components, and received effectiveness slices that would've put it over 90% or even 100% on some. Thanks for the input, i appreciate it a lot. I think i might hold on to it and see what happens. Any more input is welcomed.
