I need some clerification on a question about armor resists.

for example:if my helmet armor has a resist of6550k/e , and the rest of my suit has 6000k/e , will my resists on all the pieces even out to 6000?

6550?

i've heard many people say that they will even out to the lowest resist armor piece, others say that they will stay the same on the armor pieces (but will resist according to stats).

i'm just curious before i put any attachments on different pieces of armor. sorry if this question is answered many a times before

well it all depends on what piece of armor is hit. it seems the helm/legs go first, then chest. the arms do not get hit that often. so keep them 3 peices with the highest resist and you should be fine

If you get hit in the head, then 6550 will stick, if anywhere else, the6000 will stick.

Resistsare dependant on where you get hit.

The exact ratio of how armor pieces get hit are still debatable, but the general rule of thumb is something like30% legs,30% head, and the remaining 40% gets divided up into something like 20% chest and5% each to biceps/bracers. (Just going from memory here so don't quote me)

The only thing that "evens out" is Encumberance - the highest number from all your pieces will stick to all pieces so you can have up to 60% movement, 60% accuracy, 60% speed if you have the wrong setup.

NP. It doesn't get asked much, but it's a good question.
