Congratulations!
On your decision to purchase some of the finest personal protection that your hard earned credits can buy.
I just wanted to write this post to assist those of you who are having trouble finding armour on your respective servers as I (coming from chimaera) have had my last few customers say that there is very little armour available in the galaxie when searching on the bazaar... well I usually make custom orders for neutral suits and only stock a small amount of imperial armours, but i know that there are many armourers, on my server, and has to be on the others, that stock many, many varietys on their vendors.
the answer was apparent almost immeadiately.
when listing armour on their vendors most Armoursmiths, place their suits in packs in order to keep a 7, 9 or 10 piece suit together with it's specific stats and colour scheme, and to a much lesser degree to limitthe amount ofarms parts, gloves and boots left ontheir vendor from customers who just buy the parts they need,
none of us mind, it's just hard to keep up with replacing the bits missing if you are trying to list certain colour schemes or varying resists on cores for a suit.
The Bazaar search you are wanting to try is not under armour as you would expect, but under miscellaneous items, wearable containers.... and another good idea will be to put limiting prices in the crafted item search field on the bottom left of the bazaar of for example 75k minimum to 14 million creds, that will find every armour that is "for sale" in your galaxie, well the ones that are onregistered vendors anyway.
My fellow Bretheren have assured me that an added system to increase the chance to find that specific armour you are looking for is achieved by entering key words such as "battle armour" or "recon armour" into the search field will significantly reduce the number of non armour hits you get in your search.
This system isn't fool proof and you will find a lot of hits for every other item that may befor salein packs. (just a example taylor items such as reinforced fiber panels and synthcloth are common) if you aren't finding the armour suits easily in this area just adjust your upper and lower prices until several suits come up on the front page, you will find that most Armourers sell at about the same prices galaxie wide, depending on their wares. Then you just grab your /way , I usually right click on the item but i am sure there are a lot of ways to do it. and you are off to purchase your prefered armour appearance type ready for that next battle, and we all wish you well!
Don't be disheartened if you can't find what you are after, Armoursmiths are only too happy to take your custom requests or at the very least send you to a another armourer that is better suited to your request (imperial armoursmiths can't make rebel armours and vis versa) just choose the name that of a smithy that you prefer and send a mail.
cheers
Hopefully this post is helpful and I am not just stating the obvious.

hehe, i actually liked those blue colors... i think it depends on which forum skin you have too, blue on black looks nice, those neon teal were maybe a bit overkill tho

I always type "armor" in the search field as well - I thinkmost suits in packs will have this word in their name.

hmmmm, yes I was going to add that Nix but it seems that when I put anything in the crafted item field i just get a "nothing available" screen, and I'm usually careful to check I call items the right thing.... but your point is quite valid, possibly as well i need to go from the english "armour" to the US spelling "armor", might try it next time i am on, cheers for post
