QUESTION:


WHATS THE BEST ALL AROUND ARMOR FOR A BH?


TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION SHE MAY BE DOING NPC MARKS AS WELL AS JEDI

MBH/MCM?


Need her template to have any idea what armor would be good for her...

If you were MCM I'd say get energy layered Battle armor (Padded, RIS, Bone, Maruarder). MBH/MCM is the template for a good number of the BH's out there. In your particular case go for recon armor. Best defences for the circumstances and the armor class of your profession (rifleman/woman).

What about BH armor with high numbers?

BH armor is alright but it's assult armor and for a bounty hunter ironically that isn't the best type of armor you can get. Most of your marks, both jedi and NPC will be doing energy damage and as such battle and recon can both get higher energy stats on them. Check here for the caps on armor types.


Only BH armor suits i've made have been for show only and stats didn't really matter because of it's lack of usability.

RIS is battle armour, basically what everyone has said above still applies. There's no special protection in RIS it will still use normal battle armourcores, hence it uses battle armour stats.It does offer a higher condition around 100k or more.

Because the FOTM for BH at present is MCM/MBH. So with this template you have a battle and an assault armor cert. If you are hunting jedi you want a energy protection so your best choice with battle/assault options is energy layered battle which then leads onto RIS which is battle armor. Very simple really.
