im having trouble and i really need help.I got novice armorsmitha bout 3 days aog and i put in 857 recon segments now im making them into cores. I looking on swg craft and it says a mabari chest plate only gives 350 xp, i was going to make those but they take 7 cores per. so 857 divided by 7 times 350 is the exp i would get? if i am guessing right that isnt even enough for 1 armorsmith skill and it has taken 2 days to make those segments and another 2 for the cores. this must be reallyscrewed up because if you ask me after 4 days i should have atleast 1 armorsmith skill..... and the recon cores have to be from factory crates. i have the money for factories infact i can make them myself as i am a master arhcitect but why in the world should i not have 1 skill after 857 recon cores? i mean not all noobs can put 30k fiberplast, tons of hide, metal etc into a factory at novice armorsmith. i mean not many novice armorsmiths can afford a factory. This dosnt make sense. if you know a better way to grind armorsmith plz tell me.

Yep, it's taking me a crazy long time to get my first AS skill box. I think my first AS skill box is about half-full right now, after I got novice AS about a week ago. But I look at the bright side, I've been selling bone armor biceps and bracers on the bazaar for 3K credits each piece. Just got my factory set up last night, so now I'll be able to start making some chestplates, helmets, and leggings. It's going to be a long journey to the top...

It's a ridiculously stupid grind, I can imagine it taking months to get a tier 4 box at some of the rates...

actually im getting 500 per and im able to grind it quite easily. I have 2 factories going on recon battle cores and 2 for segments and i just craft a bit each day got 20K+ today

Crafting tool only. If we didn't need cores from the same crate, you could afford to hand-build the segments, then the cores, then the chestplates, and you'd get more xp

Do you get XP for the cores your factory creates? Or do you only get XP for what you craft with your crafting tool?

all arm peices only take one core, those can all be made by hand
just make segments till inventory is full, then make cores till they are all gone, then make arm peices (although you will need cloth and rfps)

as i stated, not everyone can afford 4 factories going on segments and cores, what if you are a noob maybe you started 2 weeks ago and you just got novice. I have just aobut stopped grinding AS, it is too much. to me it isnt worth so many resources on the segements and cores to barely get half a box of tier 1....
