Thread: So, the newest bugs I see so far:

Are mostly display issues. I think they honestly tried to work on something for AS in this publish, and failed. Now stat display for final combine armor is now bugged the same as for primus layers, doesn't show up during experimentation. I didn't test segments or cores but I suspect they have this same issue as well.


oh yeah and bug # 2, stacks of resources aren't showing as accurate (stacks of 100k that are actually less than 100k)


#3: The cntrl-o option under interface that allows you to see the average between selected stats on a certain resource (say oq/sr for example) no longer functions at all. The numbers don't show up, period.




There really needs to be a shift in the programming philosophy here, they say they've added more people to live issues yet we see problems compounding problems, and we know from the track record of SOE that there are never enough hours allocated to the devs for debugging. This is something that needs to change or even the people with extreme patience are going to hit the trail.



Now that it's OK to support the removal of classes in your signature, I firmly support the removal of all the benny hill glowstick fanclub from the game; it was a lot more fun before they came.

Just to make sure I'm clear--it's still working in that I can fully experiment and my armor will turn out the same as it did before, but it's not until it's a completed prototype that I'll be able to see the final condition?

Your completed item should have stats that would go along with your experimentation rolls, yes.

I had no 100k stacks on me at logoff last night before it went live and all of them show 100k and 100k in details

The ones that were in my inventory would not show averages HOWEVER the ones in storage on my vendor and laying around the house DO. I also attempted to drop the items in my inventory and pick them up as well as put them into a vendor and retrieve them. no dice. I left them in a backpack with some other resources before I logged for the night (ones in pack also show averages) so I'm hoping that logging back in with them being off my toon's inventory will correct this. CONFIRMED! dropping the bugged resource in a house and logging out and back in will correct this for resources that were in your inventory when the pub went live!

Well, if the reward for dealing with all these bugs is having all our partial stacks of resources turned into 100k stacks, I won't complain. That sure beats double XP days.

- Emptied harvestors this evening to get a good sample of new stuff entering the inventory, I took about 1.1mil of resources out, and a lot of the stacks are saying 100k in the inventory, but when you put the cursor over them to get details they just say they have the same amount as when you took them out of the harvestor(70-90k). No amount of combining changes this number in the detail window, it stays the same. So I split them all into 50k stacks and put them on my vendor, we'll see how big they think they are tomorrow.

and my personal favorite:


I repaired my Chitin chest last night with 'minimal blemishes' or whatever, but the stats on the chest remained 10000/45000


love it...

you know whats even better? If you dont logout and back in to have the updated stats reflected immidately, it'll continue to decay to 0 and be irrepairable. gotta love that
