Thread: noob need direction in faction armor crafting

i am an imp MAS, would very much love to craft a set of stoomtrooper armor for myself.


i have read though all links in " READ THESE LINKS BEFORE POSTING WITH QUESTIONS " but there is no direction what so ever tell me how i can make my faction armor. plz redirect

buy the schematics from a recruiter with faction points, craft as normal like any other armor. You may need to purchase faction from a smuggler for this tho which is why you see so many smiths picking up smuggler 4000

For stormtrooper armor you will need battle cores either basic, standard or advanced (I recommand advanced cores).

After that you need to "buy" temporary schematic (10 charges) of the piece you wanna craft:


  • find an imperialrecruiter on a planet on which imps "win" GCW vs. rebs, schematics will cost less.

  • go to Imperial Combattant (or Special Forces), check "war effort against rebels scum"

  • check the number of faction points you need to buy the schematic ... you can buy it

  • you can go on leave here, you don't need to be overt to craft.

hints:


  • all imp faction armors piece (except belts) have to be hand crafted (i.e. no factory runs)

  • there are 30 temporary schematics with 10 charges: scout/storm/shock x arms(4)/helm/chest/legs/boots/gloves/belt
    you can "buy" have them all at the same time if you want.

  • you can not have several temporary schematics of same type (scout trooper helm for example)

  • I never put more than 3 points when I craft imp armors but I have no mods, no FS crafting skill and I don't leave in a "crafter city",
    and I got only great succes and amazing experimentations.

I don't know how rich you are, but it's expensive to buy faction. 100k for 1250fp + bonus. Probably better off going to the Imperial vs Gungan POI. The only problem might be, if you have no combat, so take a friend. Again, it's up to you, I'm just poor
