Thread: Handmade Should mean somthing From A factory Crate needs to go

OK let Guilds and whomever wants to mass produce items for what ever reason continue to use Factories in crafting.
I propose that "From a Factory Crate" be removed entirely from all components.
In fact to take this further, after chosing to "Create a Prototype" or "Create a Schematic" for those crafters who chose to "Hand Make" their items, they be allowed one more experiment point in one of several areas such as
General Defence
Pistol Accuracy
Etc.... Basically all the skills now avail in game might be added to each component to a Maximum of5 points.
This gives the Crafter much more pesonalization to "Hand Made Items"
After Create Prototype another box will appear for masters that they chose the Skill to enchance "Pistol Accuracy" and get a chance to hit 1-5 additional points to the item.
This would soooo make Hand Crafting and Crafting in General much better than today. Suits can be made up in a variety of ways.
Such as "Pistol Accuracy Suit" or Melee Defence Suit or "Mind Regeneration Suit" or mixes of all sorts.
This will not be allowed for facotry production and only for "Hand Made".
I think in all Factories were a bad idea for Crafting in an MMO as one Crafter could in theory produce all the equipment ever needed on a server.

Where have you been? Most of have to hand make our items now because of the crate bug.
But lets digest what you said. I disagree. Some of us would like to be able to log on to our alts and play them 1 or 2 times a month. Ive not seen my bh in almost 7 weeks because of the hand crafting. I sell between 30 and 40 suits of comp a week, all black. This entails all hand making of the armor. Now you do the math, that is 270 to 360 individual peices just for comp alone. Now add into that the padded, marauder, ubese and tantel I also stock. Then on top of that, add the custom ordered layered armors.
In a consensus, I say no, keep factory crates right where they are and bloody well get them fixed.

I'd love to see some kindof bonus for hand crafting entire suits. Defense mods would be a good thing.

Odd you mention that. Ive been gone a long time playing WoW and boy was it fun.
You play your crafter by choice. If you want to play your Alt then just log on him.
Hand Made is a good thing for crafting. You can still make your Mass production items your items will just not be quite as good as if you spend time hand making it.

I think you missed the point. He just saying give people an incentive to craft and ENTIRE suit. You can still use a factory, but you don't have to in making your armor.
Or at least that 's how I read it....

Ahh, if taken in that context, i can see it too. Guess im just a lil negative over this buff crap. Sorry mate, if put in that context, that might be something to consider. Maybe a better resist to decay or something along that lines.
