Hi just a quick question, I'm still trying to learn the armorsmith profession so bare with me. I have very good resources and had an entertainer buff.
My problem is that my unlayered piece of battle armor I made came out at 5988 across the board. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I from reading this board I thought capping at 6000 was easy. Ignoring the values of the kinetic and the energy, I see armor frequently with 6000 to the elemental stats. Just wondering what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks for any input.

Your probably doing nothing wrong, but are still a little low on your resource quality. It still takes exceptional resources to cap your armor, there's just no challenge to expermenting one bar when the resources are good enough. It sounds like you are just one resouce shy of reaching the cap though...shouldn't be too much harder to cap.

My worst resource is my 759 OQ 941 SR Amorphous Gem (used in the core). Is that my problem? If I need 900/900 resources to do this then that's great, that's the answer I'm looking for. I was just under the impression that it was a little easier.
edit: Thanks I was writing this as you were.

hmmm. So to get cap you need 900+ for each attribute. I was under the impression generally if the to stats add up 1600 it will do well, could I be thinking about this in Pre-CU terms?
Also have gated resource stats changed?
