I would like to use armor attachments for my ithorian and since we cannot wear ubese bandoliers or mabari belts, what armor piece would be best to stick an attachment in? Thanks!

Id say get some High condition krayt segments and get a Bicep made for it.
You would also need a good base on those segments like 20%+
I made the perfect holder for comp today it was 80% base 78k cond but it was also made with some really nice exceptional segments 48% base 43.5 k condition :-P
Reason for using bicep is that it seems to be the least hit armor piece..

I've got a human character, and have been wondering the same thing--which piece of armor will last the longest for attachments. I don't think I want to add a bicep because of the added encumbrance, so if you had to chooseamong boots, gloves, chest, or helmet, which of those do you think takes the fewest hits?

If you're wearing the 4 piece, go with boots...very little seems to be attacking the action pool since they patched damage...
I usually keep a psg in my toolbar and equip my mabari belt...if I run into someonetoting a jawa or something, I'll put the psg on...

If they are high end attachments at all, I wouldn't recommend sticking them in any of the main 4 pieces, unless you have the money to replace it when it breaks.

Thanks for the helpful replies, zaphb, SJTH, and Donjo. I've never used a Mabari belt before, so forgive my ignorance with these questions... what is the issue with using one of these along with a PSG? Can a Mabari belt be worn with any kind of armor, or just on top of certain Mabari pieces (again, I do typically wear Mabari pants, but no other Mabari pieces)? Finally, does a Mabari belt take damage hits like other armor pieces? Would ubese shirts or bandoliers be just as good choices for armor attachments?

belts and PSGs cant be worn at the same time they take up the same slot :-(
Mabari belts can be worn with any armor and or clothing
They dont have condition :-)
The bandos and shirts has been nerfed so they only take CAs :-(

Thanks, zaphb, I see how it works now. That's interesting that they nerfed bandoliers and ubese shirts but not belts. My initial thought after reading your response was that a Mabari belt would be the no-brainer place to put armor attachments. But having to unequip it in order to use a PSG makes me wonder now if it would be useful for me. So it sounds like boots are the best place to add AAs, if I don't want tousepieces (like a bicep) that would add encumbrance to a 4-piece set. Now I just need to get a sense for how long a pair of boots will last compared to a chest plate. Has anybodyworked out (or have any guesses about) the hit ratiosamong theHAMs (or among the various armor pieces) from NPCs/creatures lately?
