Thread: So how do you keep up with resources?

I know on tempest we have www.asiabrothers.com that has moderators that update the resources daily and it really helps with crafting. The resources are active if they are on the site and usually active just as long as the site says. I know swgcraft.com is suppost to be good as well but I tried it and it seems it's not so hot, especially not compared to asiabrothers.com and it has some resources that say they are in spawn for upwards of 20 something days yet I've tested and many of those resources died a week or more ago.
I was just wondering how you kept up with resource spawns....the survey droids and just flying to different planets to survey every couple days? Or what other methods.

I've actually found SWGCraft to be quite good at staying on top of shifting resources (at least for Chilastra). But I also keep an eye on my survey tool, and the guild I belong to has quite a concentration of resource nuts that have an almost pathological tendency to stay on top of bleeding edge spawns.
FWIW, that's how I handle it. Inventory management on the other hand... *shudder*

Scylla is lucky to have a dedicated group of surveyors/scouts that updates every day all the planets. Very usefull...my alt is chef/AS/Ws...can't say how many times it's helped me out...

swgcraft is very good maintained on Eclips most stuff is listied in 2-10hr from spawn hunting resourses not always 
I check swgcraft a few times a day and never look for the planets what stuff is around .... help a little with swg craft on the planet Im on and some thing yavin or so because that the most places people dont look especiale the woods we need for the new wook Armors

Thanks, maybe just on Tempest it is bad and possibly for the very reason that we have a good resource site already. Didn't think about it like that earlier so thanks for your replies ^_^

I have yet to see a tool as good as Enactive, but I suppose SWGCraft isn't very good for Tempest because *OF* Enactive, heheh. If Enactive died suddenly, I bet the SWGCraft tracker for Tempest would get much better. My biggest problem with SWGCraft is the rather clunky interface. But there is something on the horizon (for a long time now) that will make it a sooper-dooper tool....there has been successful testing of a parser for the survey droids emailed results. If that goes in, it will become very easy to keep up with spawns. All that would be needed would be samping for the stats.

on intrepid our guild tries to keep talus resources updated.
i wish we had a dedicated scout/ranger group to keep hide and stuff updated.
