Okay im completly new to armorsmith.. ive mastered it i just have some questions that it hought the veteran armor makers could hel me with..
how do layers effect armor?
how many layers can go into a piece of armor
how do i know when im going to get 80%kinetic armor
What do i put experiment points into to make the best possible armor..

I'm a 12 point but on layers, 3 go into 1 segment...
what I do is experiment the base (middle line I believe) until I get 4%, then bring the resistance up to 7%, not being a 12 point and depending on your resources you may only be able to get 6%..
your layers should then be 4% Base 6-7% Kinetic
For segments, get the base up over 30% then focus on getting your electrical up to 15% that should get you 80% Kinetic 80% Electric 60+ Base. Don't fret if its not 80 80, its not because you suck
it's because many AS's have a 12 point armor suit or just better/older resources.
So remember!
Layers you're aiming for 4% base 7% Kinetic
Segments 30+ Base, 15 Electric but don't fret if its a little under!
When you get to the comp, get that base up as high as it goes, once again middle line I believe.
Then with whats left over, Experiment on the bottom line to bring the electric resistance up. If by some chance you're an Ub3r 10 pt AS, but any remaining points in the top line to drop the encumberance!!
Hope this helps!
