Thread: Primus Layers what am I looking for

Ok, I just started a run of primus layers. I saw a post on here that a guy said he got 42's on Kinetic and Energy, and someone else said 50 was the max. Now, I made and Advanced set of Padded recently with no layers. The Segments I used were 760 something and it turned into 4900 advanced battle cores.

Now, the Primus layers I was making had 8 for kinetic and energy, and all but 1 of the 5 components was in the high green, the other in the yellow.I stopped the factory with 3 layers made so I could make a test segment and go to bed. My segment came out to 1100 w/ only three layers. Far above the 760 I had created with no layers. It doesn't seem as that there is enough buffer in my resource values to go from 8 to 50, am I wrong? What do you think I'll be looking at with 1100 or more segments when I make advanced battle cores. Thanks for any input.

When I get home from work, i'll get more exact on the exact figures.

layer stat display is broken. if you make a factory run of the layers they will have the right values listed on the crate. your segments are poor. look for better steel/aluminum/poly/wooly. It also looks like you need better core materials too. Youd basically need perfect segments (~993 protection) to hit the 6k hardcap after you skin some battle armor. (6000-4900=400=700, 700/3=233, 233+760=993) Use better materials and shoot for 950ish segments and try to get your core up another 4-5% while experimenting. This should boost you to the cap and give you the best returns on those excellent primus layers youre making.

I messed with Tertius layers and they seemed to have lousy resists (either that or I didn't understand what I was doing). What are the purpose of Primus, Secundus, Tertius layers?
