Thread: Question on crafting Krayt scales and other loot into armor

I don't believe I've seen this particular question before and I'm just now finding time to do some crafting with Krayt scales. My question is this...For armor pieces that require 2 or more cores, if you have 1 segment with a +15 scale in it would you get the +15 bonus or does every segment in the core have to be +15 to get +15?

I tried it...one seg per core...3 identical cores
+15 total to finshed piece
it sux but ya end up using alot of scales per suit hehe

doh just reread the post..ok..yes one seg with +15 out of 3 got +15 on core hehe

Ok..so if I have three cores with +15 and put into a chest piece (e.g. marauder), it will be +45 right? If that's the case, I only need 3 enhancers for a chest piece instead of what I have been using. That's good news.

No +15 per core will only give you +15 in the final chestplate. Enhancers stack in segments not cores.

Exactly. Tried it. If you dont use 9 enhancers on a chest (3 cores) you will NOT get +45.

Ok..so I was doing it the right way the first time. Thanks for the feedback. I thought that would be too easy.
