Im reading here on the forums that you only need RIS components and not all the animal parts like before. That cant be true, right?

Also, if thats not true it doesnt seem like you get any benegit from it as normal battle armor provides the same protection, that true too?

relative to other types of armor, i think RISfares better now than pre-cu. It is as good as any other type, and has better condition by far.

It still requires 1 GDK scale,a Wooolyamnder harrower bone and a gurk king hide. Beyond that and a few less than common inorganic resources.. it is just battle armor.A goodnote isthat while harvesting the GDK scales, you do get some decent battle cores that drop... so there isnt really any excuse for it not to be pretty high end on it's protects, The suits I made yesterday were coming out at about 5900.
