HECK NO!!!!

I see alot of rich ppl with it but thats it. It seems to decay too fast for what you pay. I understand the costs involved but it might be out of some ppls reach, new players at least, if there are any. (the games design seems to push any new players away)

I have opted to go TKM for the broken innate armor instead. However, RIS might be nice for the "look" and the extra health you can get out of armor, but to see it turn to dust in a few weeks, I dont know. Especially now that missions pay sooooo little. Im surprised they increased the cost of armor yet decreased mission payouts. Makes sense to you? Maybe they want armor to be for the established players only? (See how the game pushes new players out?)

But, I think armorcrafting is interesting and armor is still nice but............

It costs more for a good set of armour than it does for a space ship.

That makes a lot of sense.

The number of named resources for armor is beyond overboard.

I have crafted with other toons that do BE stuff and Chef stuff and AS seems way too specific.

I could see one two max named resources per item. Three to four is just too much and drives the prices too high.

However, if enhancers on the BE side get fixed and start to really work / benefit we could see a shift in the economy once again.

ATM though, to me the big killer for the hunting business is resource crates. Most crafters have used those for animal resources as those tend to be the most difficult to get in quantity. When those run out, then more money should go back into the economy for hunters that then can afford armor again.

hopefully.

RIS will not degradein few weeks.. its quality runs a lot higher than most armor, I ah getting over 80k with faily low quality resources,,,the price for RIS isnt that badif you gather your own drops. that is what ou are paying the high price for when you buy it... and it isnt anything most people cant gather themselves if they put the time in to it.

I am charging 150k for a full suit of battle armor with protects at 5000+. I can do this because I gather all my own resources. I dont know who you are buying armor from, but I believe i sell a suit cheaper than you could buy and build a ship out to combat ready... assuming you had to buy all the components.

Define high?

Bring me 30k FP and you get 3 Imp suits of your choosing free.
Bring me Imp PSG schem and get 2 for free.
Bring me 10k 700+ OQ/SR hides and get 2 suits of your choosing free.

Most of my gear is 60k+ cond, is this still breaking in a week?

Buy 9 single pieces off my vendor for 60k each DESPITE all of the vendors spamming "Please check 'next page'" the armour segs that say "Please check 'next page'" right next to them, instead of buying the bagged sets for 250k, then you're simply a retard. (this is going on a LOT lately) ok im done...

Armor is worth using, but getting the best possible armor might not be worth it. For example the difference between 6000 and 7000 is only 4% resists
