Thread: Price Check on energy layered armor (Recon with 8140E)!
<snicker> I am very close to telling people that I do not make black armor anymore
I've been at thisfor a while now, so my perspective on the amount of time I want to spend doing combines is a bit different than yours. I used to love logging in and crafting out custom suits for people for hours upon end. Fast-forward a year and a half, and I like making a few high end enhanced suits a week and maybe a few other non-enhanced as favors for friends, and then spending my game time doing other things. Like all things, it ebbs and flows. There are weeks where I craft a lot more and weeks where I just log in and chat.

You will porbably get flooded with way more orders than you can handle. If you advertise before you have subcomponents made, you will find the orders piling up as you wait for those factories to churn out components. This is fine up to 10 or so orders, but once you have a back log of 20+, it gets ugly ![]()
Anyway, I'd recommend nosing around and seeing what others charge if you care about their prices, or just deciding on a bulk cpu value that takes into account your resource cost, factory/harvestor expenses, and a premium for your own time and expertise. Keep in mind that a fully-layered suit uses around 15,000 resources total. I charge about 150-175 cpu or so with some tweaking dependiing on the amount of certain extremely high value resources used, waste (especially enhanced suits), and the amount of time i have spend doing combines or running back and forth to factories (also especially enhanced suits).
