Are you sure the segments have the same serial number as the one you used for the schematic?

Yes, you are correct.

Or 3 sets of 4 segments each and use 1 from each crate.

Or a set of 8 and a set of 4 and and use 2 from the first crate and 1 from the second.

I think you understand whatI mean.
