Thread: Storing Resources In Backpacks

i'll try not to jump to any conclusions since i am not on the test server-but after reading jaato's question thread it sounds like you might not be able to store resources in backpacks. storage of resources is one of my biggest problems. i have had to waste 4 lots on small houses so i can store all the resources ive collected. the ONLY way to keep things relatively organized is with backpacks. if you take this away from us i cannot even imagine what kind of a mess i'll have on my hands.

if you want to have people crafting the best stuff which i have to say overall is pretty damn cool-then we need resources-and with the way many of the topline items require up to 20 resources what do you expect us to do? some have specialized in comp or ubese or whatever but many of us like to make all the diff types of armor-or at least collect the resources needed for a certain type and when you have topline resources then do a run of chitin or padded.

point being we NEED a way to keep the hundreds of things we collect and sell organized.

one other thing since im here: what about giving crafters more storage space per house as they move up in skill?

say by the time you are a master you could store 300 itmes per small house or something like this. or create some sort of storage shed-like you made tents to sell stuff-have each shed bea lot and be able to hold 500 or 1000 items with a way to divide the items-drawers or something like this. what am i supposed to do with 150 nightsister layers, krayt scales, and loot segments? thats a full house and a basically wasted lot for storage.

No... I think the change is so that you can't sell a backpack full of stuff on a vendor. Like if you wanted to dump a full suit of armor into a backpack and then sell it as one piece, so that the customer doesn't have to make 20 different clicks to buy their suit. You should be able to sort and store your resources in backpacks, you just can't put them in a vendor that way.

I had a Force sensitive character, with 23 and a half boxes ground out.
I had a master creature handler.
I had a high lvl crafter character.
I had a Bounty Hunter that I hunted PC Jedi with.

My game is dead.

Above info is correct, however, I heard on some other post on TC that "Unlocked Containers" didn't get applied to the "Overall Crafting Nerf" of Publish 7. Hopefully, that will be the work-around that we need... *crosses fingers*
