One of my guildmates got this info off the Test Center:

Commodities Market/Vendors: Fix to no longer allow people to sell bags that are not empty on vendors.
Commodities Market/Vendors: Added error messages for attempting to sell items in trade windows, non-empty bags, and un-tradeable items like goggles and light sabres.

Where the hell do these Devs get their ideas from?!? Looks like we have to go back to having our vendors filled with 100's of arm pcs and gloves that no one wants. Oh wait. We must have asked for this right? Argh!!! How many more stupid nerfs must I face before I quit this damn game?!?!?

How the hell are we supposed to have orders for people, yeah sure some poeple rip others off with this, but what the hell, people use these for a reason. Give us the examine command on them or something, its removing something without providing an alternative. In congress they call that an "unfunded mandate," people don't like those there either.

People were slicing lightsabers with this. Putting them on the vendor and selling them in travel packs to get sliced. Too bad people do this and change things like that.

They were? thats odd last I heard the preferd method was to stick it in a droids storage compartment and then transfer the droid.

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead

No it means it has to be empty.

*shrug*

I never sold packs with contents anyway, as I have played long enough to remember when packs on vendor lost all contents...

Not to mention the fact that people tend not to trust packs whose content they cannot see.

Most people wouldn't have a problem with this, however, coupled with the new vendor limits of 150 items per vendor, It makes is VERY difficult to keep a vendor stocked without checking it every other day. Satches/Cargo Pockets/Backpacks made it very convienent for customers who want to purchase an entire suit without having to sort through 500+ items. High volume Master Armorsmiths will take the biggest hit, but custom order jobs will be a thing of the past without bags clearly marked with the customer's name.
