Thread: The obilgatory rate my first set of composite post
Its a great set. If it is truly your first then you are off to a good start...you seem to have learned how to experiment right ![]()
You will mostly see variations depending on materials used...
Good stuff, same comment tough w/ regards to HAM. Once you play in the 80% range your looking at buffs/food anyhow.
The rules for armor have completely changed w/ the introduction of mind foods.
Ithink high ham and higher base may sell faster but who knows what life is like on your server. Shoot for that mid-range 65ish% base perhaps. It makes for an attractive offer on the vendor these days.
Thanks for the feedback guys. Once I got my confidence up with this set I made some schematics for slightly higher HAM and around 63% base.
I really made this armor the way I like to wear it. I've got some very heavy stuff with high resists on my bounty hunter toon, but unless you get a set of buffs for 2000 on each secondary the HAM costs of specials and what little damage that does go through seems to wear down my health and action too fast. Not having any medic skills makes regen critical to me. I guess in the short PvP fights regen doesn't mean squat, but for most of the high-level PvE I do HAM regen is what determines whether I live or die.
In any event, I havea feeling anything with 80% kinetic will sell after the publish has been live for a few weeks. And frankly, I'm not doing it for the money, I really enjoy the crafting side of things. In fact, these 50-60 suits will probably be the last kinetic layered comp I do because I kinda feel like I've been there and done that with 80% kinetic comp. I've been playing around with electrical layers in anticipation of the crafting changes. Since there's no use experiementing on the special protection with those, it frees up a few points to spend on the base without sending the HAM up into the stratosphere. Pretty good stuff so far, and since everyone wants effectiveness slices these days a decent one gets the kinetic resists (along with everything else) up near 80%.
Again, thanks for the feedback.
