Thread: Still confused when armor condition is 0

I've just encountered a (almost) similar problem. A player asked me to repair a pair of Tantel Boots which were at 0/17000 condition.

Effected the repair and gota partial success with reduced condition - checked the stats and condition was at -5000/11000 (or so). Tried again and it went to -12000/7000.

Would be grateful for any help on what this means!

You can't repair anything that hits zero condition. Once it's at zero it's dead for good and trying to repair it will just waste charges off your repair tool.

repairing something at 0 Condition only makes it worse (negative). the item is dead at that point.

My Composite Chest Armor's condition is at 0 yet it still has resists of an average of 25% on it. Does this mean it still works even though the resists aren't as high as they use to be or is this Armor useless when it's at 0 condition?

Worthless and unfixable although there have been instances where armor has offered some protection even though it was broken due to bugs.

I get occassions when the repair becomes 1/1 condition. with full resists still intact. Is this armor knackered too?

At 1/1 it's trash too.

Equip it and go fight a low level creature while looking at the combat window. There shouldn't be any info about how much damage the armor blocked, because it's not blocking any.
