I've just started out on the long road to mastering armorsmith and i'm nearly always skint, so i though i'd make some PSG's as i heard somewhere that they were an ok way of making credtis if you weren't a master armorsmith. However most of the people i've meet are demanding kinetic protection. I'd like to know how to make a PSG with a good kinetic protection please.

PSG's are generally Energy based. Their special protection is energy only, so dont expect much above 5% kinetic at Deflectors II. As for being a good source of income, i doubt it. You'll find this armor is a pain in the ass compared to mabari or other armors for sale. first off, they wear out easily. And i mean VERY easily, think the first 4 minutes of a fight and the generator is dead at 0/xxx. Secondly, it needs 2 master artesian items (Power coupler, and Energy distributer or something of the same name). Then it needs other armorsmith components. Not that hte resource needs are high, but itt akes a bit of time to make each psg. If its factory amde, you're looking at about 8 runs just to make one set of psg's. Which PSG1's will have about 10% energy protection (maybe 20% if made by a master armorsmith). Go up the scale, psgIII's can have up to 40-50% protection, but they take even larger amounds of resources and components. If you're looking for profit, psg's aren't really gonna be a good choicefor you. I'd look at selling armor via. the bazaar. More money to be made there.
