I'm typing up a revision to the Guide and I want to put in the levels at which each armor type is obtained. Could someone let me know if I have these right?

Bone armor: Engineering I-IV

Chitin: Personal Armor I

Composite: Master Armorsmith

Kashyyykan Ceremonial Armor: Personal Armor II

Mabari: Novice Armorsmith

Padded: Personal Armor IV

Ubese: Personal Armor III

Tantel: Personal Armor IV

You are correct. Tantel is PA II. Both Chitin and Wookiee Armor is PA I.

Are you sure Bone is MA? I thought you got the different pieces at Engin I-IV?

Bone is Eng I-IV. Not sure anyone said it was MA.

I stand corrected.

The skill tree to get the Bone Armor schematics is Engineer I-IV. However, to get the full benefits of experimentation, you need Master Artisan experimentation points, as opposed to, Armorsmith experimentation points. That's what I meant when I originally posted.

Doesn't swgcraft.com have a pretty accurate skill tree from which you can get this info?

You do not receive any additional experimentation points for being master artisan. All you need for the stanard 10 are eng. 4 and domestic arts 4.

Jaato- not to flame or anything, but aren't you the correspondent? I mean not knowing the levels when armor is obtained in the Armorsmith tree(not including Bone, as it is an engineering craft)

That shows that you a: aren't playing anymore. Or b: don't care.

Seriously, that is a disappointment to here that our Correspondent who is supposed to relay our issues with the devs and get things fixed doesn't even know the basic layout of the profession.

No, it's called "I'm typing this up at work, where I don't have the ability to log on". I wanted to get the revised version finished yesterday, while I had some free time to work on it. After I posted the question I realized that I could just look it up on a character creation web site. It's been a very, very long time since I've had to think about which armor is in which skill box- when I go to craft the armor, the schems are all available. I'm afraid my memory just isn't perfect when it comes to details I don't rely on on a daily basis.
