Recently I received help here for making better armor, & things have gotten much better. I am making 80% Kinetic 71% Base armor. However I have run into a slight problem.
I cannot hit 71% Base on my chest plate. I hit 71% fairly easily on everything else, but no matter what I do, I cannot hit it. I hit 70% instead.
here are my resources:
alumnium - 979 oq 742 sr
intrusive ore - 991 oq 928 sr
solid petro - 955 oq
naboo fiber - 976 oq 714 sr
beryllius copper - 988 oq 409 sr
wooly hide - varies oq & sr always over 800
I never seem to be able to get higher than 86% exp on the 2nd row. On some pieces of armor, like leggings, I can hit 71% base with only 86%. Is that just bad resoruces, or a glitch?
Thanks

That happens a lot. It has to do with the amount of resources used. Because the chest plates take so much more then the other pieces they weigh in different.

The problem is resource ratio's and the SR on beyrllius copper IMO.
Beyrllius copper contributes to 16.7% of the SR weighted average on a chest piece and only 14.3% on gloves. It's even lower at 13.8% of boots and arm pieces.
So, if you're right on the line, say around 71.0%, base resist on the gloves then the low SR on beyrllius will knock it down to something like 70.9% on the chest because of the stronger influence on the overall weighted average.
