Thread: Mandalorian Helmet Crafted on Testcenter
Ack! Nice job to all who were involved.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Devs just gave us more display armor. Lets hope the stats are based on the BH armor usedso that we could possibly get higherresists from better BH armor. ![]()

i haven't been reading up on the Test center lately, but did anyone else notice the "lightsaber" damage type listed in the vulnerability of that helmet? I guess they replaced "Restraint" with "Lightsaber" as a damage type.
Ya I saw that 2, I personally am hoping that we will be able to go on some sort of quest to get say a Cortosis weave layer that gives a resistance to lightsaber damage.... but then again thats just me ![]()
Is this the fake screen shot everyone has been passing around?
If not, it is not CURRENTLY worth the effort.

From what's been mentioned in other threads I can't recall, this armor is already set for the combat rebalance so other armor will more than likely get toned to less then what this is. At least it is my guess
Did anyone notice that it is vulnerable to lightsaber? I thought mando was about the only armour that had any resitance to lightsabers.

even if they do put cortosis in to the game it should be extremely difficult to obtain, or have resists similar to that of stun armor with a cap at 45% or less, because if it ends up being 90% your gonna hear lot of complaints from jedi because their sabres will be about as usless as they were before the revamp.
haha, cortosis is a type of slilclastic ore
*groan* I am looking a this armor and I am seeing what I have been dreading all along. Now this is a quest armor and damn near impossible for alot of people to get as it is implimented now. With all the trouble that is involved in making this armor you would have thought that it would have been outstanding protection and frightningly to me maybe it is what the devs believe will be outstanding after the rebalance. While I do congratulate the achievement of the individual who made this armor, I see profound implications for the rest.
I will admit I am not up to speed on this armor as I probably should be owing to the fact that I have been more focused in gaining more boxes on my jedi but my first reaction is what quality of resources were used? Assuming that the quality of resources either did not matter or was high... look at all those vulnerabilities is this what "combat rebalance" means? Jaango and Boba Fett didn't seem like the type that would have to much of a problem against a nest of anglers. However I doubt very seriously I could take on even those types of critters with this let alone a lesser form of the composite.
I am very scared of combat rebalance. I am begining more and more to see Everquest Galaxies. It is begining to look like the worst of fears and thunderheart's statements are confirmed. Combat Rebalance equates to SEVERE NERF of composite and keeping the regular armor at its own useless levels.
Jaato please find out about how the combat rebalance will affect our products as soon as you possibly can. I don't know about how all other smiths feel and I don't speak for them. I would like to know immediately what the future of my products and thereby the future of my profession will be.

Hey Rhawn I was just gonna say that Mandalorian is a loot only armor, we are not using resources just loot and press a button (kinda degrading in my opinion) I mean we work our fricken butts off gather insane resources spend insane ammounts of money, so that we can go put some items only found in the deathwatch bunker, into a hopper, press the button and get our piece of fricken armor...
