Thread: Trouble with materials

I received my masters in AS about a mo. ago, since that time i have been shopping and shopping and shopping. I spend hours at a time only to maybe find some ore wich is needed for ubese and composite, 2 armors im looking forward to crafting, but have been unable to attempt due to lack of materials like beyrllis copper, colat iron, kiirium steel, neutroneum steel, and axidite iron, ive got to ask you ladies and gents where you get ahold of these ores, do you have a specific vendor that is always well stocked, or do you mine your own? If you know someone or know of a good vendor please let me know, i am on the Eclipse server, and looking forward to crafting some armor! Just kinda bummed im unable to do so at the moment, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you will probably go poor if you bought all your resources, all of us mine what we need. Sure, we might buy some old spawn, or buy a little extra of a good spawn (nevermind buying pretty much all of our organic resources.) If you are looking for specifics, and dont mind paying out of your nose, I would check your server's trade forum.

I had the same problem man. when I got Master Armorsmith on Bloodfin I had a brutal time finding what I needed, luckily my past prof was smuggler, and that provided me with alot of credits to get me started and I was able to buy 98% of what I needed, except for good solid petro and naboo fiberplast. ironically enough within 3 weeks some of the best spawn for those resources hit and I had it made. all in all yeah, easier to mine your own stuff. buying saves time but you'll have to really pay sadly :-/

SWGCraft.com is your friend. Check it regularly, it has resource spawn data for all servers.

I dont mine anything
I used to though
I now have enough credits to pay other people to do my mining, or be able to buy stuff off vendors. I think that once you get all the resources, a new smith uses them all up to make some armor. Once that sells, he uses that money to buy more, or buy another factory or pay maintenace etc.
eventually you will get enough cash where you can do larger factory runs and not have to worry about dropping 2-3 mill on some old resources
