Thread: SERIOUS QUESTION ABOUT RIS!!!!

Ok, so I started getting RIS components together for ones reason: THE HELMET!! And now I have all of them and the AS I asked to build them gace me horrible news! TWILEK CANNOT WEAR THE HELM!!! Now I was saddened, and mentioned this to a guildmate, and he said they can! Now I've been asking around, and everyone says something different - "Twi'lek zabrak and human only can wear it" , "Twi'lek can't, human and zabrak can" , "Twi'lek can but it hides their lekku"...
WHICH IS IT?????
I have all the pieces, and am ready to get it built, but need somebody willing to do one of the following,
1-Show me a screenshot of a twi'lek wearing one (no your word is not enough with everyone differing on which is correct)
2-If you are on bria, let me try one on (I'm not gonna steal it I just need to know!!!)
3-If you are a twi'lek that owns a RIS helmet, let me know which server you are on, I will create a toon for that server, and meet me at mos eisley wearing it!
Thank you to anyone that can help me with this most urgent question...

Ok heres the story...
First off look at some of the wall papers that SOE published for the First Part of the Droid Invasion and one of the corvette Desktops has a Twi'lek in all RIS armor

Do an advance search for RIS FAQs
or go through the one stickyed at the top of this page...
Three
only Humans, Zabs and Twileks can wear a RIS helmet... Basicly the races with normal human head shape.
Artwork to make it expand around the extended Rodian,Mon Cal, Bothan head shapes did not get completed and probably will never get completed...

Yes, several forum posts say twilek can wear them and several say they can't!
I'm not going to risk wasting the EXPENSIVE components for something I can't wear!
And yes, the art for droids rebuilt does show a twi'lek wearing that, but SOE is not known for its... consistency...
I need some form of proof before I will make this which is why I asked for a screenshot!

Because I don't feel like selling something that has taken me MONTHS to get the pieces for, seriously man I'm not doing all this hunting just to make creds!

i have chest helm and leggings, my alt is a female twilek, i am on ahazi, and will be online at 2am EST tonight, post here if you want me to try it on for you, i enver did before so not sure if it works ok

But youve already got all the pieces, implying you dont need to do anymore hunting. Which means you have no choice but to either make it into RIS armor yourself and try it or just sell the pieces...
