Hello, not an armorsmith, but had a question before I attempt to make an order. I currently have managed to stockpile a large amount of nightsister armor shards, and being rodian, the reduction in HAM is quite appealing. My question is, could anyone give me the rough numbers of identical shard sets I would need for a full suit of composite?

you need 63 layers to make an exclusive set of nightsister composite. each segment requiring 3 layers, 21 segments per suit. chest needs 12 layers, helm needs 9 layers, pants needs 9 layers, gloves need 3 layers, each arm piece needs 6 layers(4 arm pieces) adn boots needs 4 layers.

Each segment can take 1 enhancer (ns shard), and 3 layers (ns layer).
Boots shoulders and bracers require2 segments. Gloves take 1 segment. Pants and helm take 3 segments. And chest takes 4 segments.
So a chest would need 15 (5 ns layers for each layer slot) ns layers and 5 shards. The segment needs to be factory made, so thats why you need 1 extra shard or layer to make the 4 segments you need.
pants and helm would each require 12 ns layers and 4 ns shards. Boots and arm pieces would each require 9 ns layers and 3 nsshards. And gloves since they only need 1 segment (so you don't factory run it) only needs 3 ns layers and 3 ns shards.
Now making a suit with just shards and with normal layers is a lot easier then putting together a shard and ns layer suit. But it's all up to you
, so you could make a piece of armor using 1 normal layer (stun for example), plus 2 layer slots with ns layers for more base and reduced ham. or just stick one ns layer in if thats all the supplies you have.
