It's just like any other loot, it varies by server and it also depends on who is in the market for one at the same time. On eclipse, you could expect 1m to 1.5m, but they've gone for less. The trade forum is the best place to ask this question.

well the ones for RIS armor are called giant dune kimogila scales. and can only be looted from giant dunekimo's. so those are probably no good atm. but who knows there might be a demnd for them after post-cu

If they look like metal plates and have stats on themthey are pretty much worthless....

If they look like an old hide creature resource container and have no stats and just a serial number than they can be worth 750K - 2M each depending on your server and timing of course.
