Hey Armorsmiths! I'm working on a line of profession assistant droids aimed at the younger/newer/poorer crafters of the galaxy, and I'm wondering about the ArmorsmithAssistant to add to the line.

These droids will be R5 ADV's and thus have two modules in them. The wearables crafting station is a given. What I'm wondering is - what's more useful to an Armorsmith - a module that holds 150 schematics, or one that holds 10 items? From thefew smiths I've asked in game, I'm getting mixed answers, so I figure I'll ask you guys all at once.

Are you really so tight on resources that you can't offer both?

I do offer a droid with both, but it runs 10k more than a droid with one or the other. 10k extra isa lot of money to younger players to spend on an item they can get by without. The object here is affordability, and the 2-module droids allow me to avoid using advanced droid brains, which can be a pain. Also, by leaving out one or the other, I'm leaving room for a repeat customer coming for an upgrade later on when they get going, as droids have no decay, we DE's mostly have one-time customers.

I'm leaning towards the data schematic droid...that way, if the Armorsmith wishes to go for the storage option, he/she could always pick up a Tailor assistant instead.

Armorsmith is not a business you start if 10k is a lot of money, with the costs of organic resources required in every type of armor you need significantly more that that to get going.... I would recomend to purchase a small house and a crafting station ASAP, as you will soon need the storage as you build up stockpiles of better resources.

A better idea may be to craft the droids with the best spec possible, what is the best you could do? I would not want to waste a spot in the datapad unless the unit was atop notch unit....

Can you add multiple crafting stations - cos we need general ones also if we are using PSG's... Any storage is good, as much as possible, what else is possible?
