Thread: AA Slots

I've got an Ubese(sp?) Armor Shirt with two open slots, I just looted an AA with three stats on it. I keep trying to add it to my current Ubese Shirt but it wont go. So does an AA take up one slot or does each stat take up a slot?

Ubese shirts no longer take Armor Attchments, they take Clothing Attachments.

O.K. so now my only option is to place on an actual piece of armor.

Can still use an armorweve belt - no condition and will not get hit... Just will stop you using a PSG...

Plus, as a side note, you know only the highest value on the AA will stick.

Why did they make it so that the ubese bandolier/shirt only takes clothing attachments?

The definition of Armor is Anything that provides protective traits for the user from aweapon.

the ubese armor shirtand bandloierhave no protective traits thus the ubese bandolier arentconsidered armor to the game.

so technically, BE items with melee def. and def. vs stun are considered armor in a way, but are still considered clothing

Padded Belts also have sockets, though they have condition. They seem to be bugged though and do not protect at all. They also have lightsaber resist for the duration of the day they are crafted.

i woul like an official response to the ubese shirt question, and why after a year of having it so they changed it without telling anyone.

I noticed the issue you are refering to when I attempted to place a AA on a pre-nerf and post-nerf ubese armor shirt.

NOTE: The ubese shirt is still concidered armor and has a light armor rating. The only change was supose to be that it now has hit points like clothing and regular armor. I submitted it as a trouble ticket and the response I got from the CSR was that it is a known issue and there is no work around at this time. He also requested I submit a /bug report, which I did. I just hope that it gets some love from the devs and is corrected soon.

So basically Ubese shirts/Bandos are clothing and take CA's

But mabari belts still count as Armour, only decay on death, and take AA's?

i have a pre-nerf mabari belt. it acts according to the rules of the past year - no change, no condition, no decay.

i don't know about belts crafted today other than they still take AAs.

We are acutally posting on this issue in the Game Guides forum, and hoping to get aresponse to a few questions people seem to be having about this issue, and the future of these items in general. I organized the questions into one post so check out the link and post your thoughts/comments if you like. Hopefully we'll hear something about it, although what are the chances of that happening.
