Can someone give me an example of a segment enhancement? I'm only 1000 AS so far and have only been grinding, not crafting. Reading up (http://www.swgcraft.com/showschem.php?id=acpaseg) on what is needed for an advanced composite segment, a optional segment enhancement came up. What are these?

These are primarily loot drops, from different NPC or creature enemies. Nightsisters can drop segment enhancements and even layers, some animals drop segments and enhancers as well.
A full list can be found in Jaato's Complete Guide to Armorcrafting stuck to the top of this board, under Appendix C (section 3c).
