Gurks drop them and they are all over Lok. I don't think the missions will spawn a king, so you just have to wander and find them.

The lairs are either called brambles or nests. I forget which. There not very hard to get.

Nests usually spawn a Reclusive Gurk King, and a bunch of pals,when the nest is nearly destroyed.

look for nests on lok with feral ghurks around.. if there isnt a feral ghurk at the lair then a reclusive king will not spawn..

if theres a feral ghurk there, the best success ive had is to advanced strafe the nest with my t21 .. the faster everything is wiped out the more often i can coax out the king. attacking the lair with an area attack is the best way to get any lair to spawn its "elite" creature.. even a kreetle nest will spawn a "death kreetle"

These guys are correct. To sum up, look for a nest with feral gurks. They will appear as red dots. The nests are pretty common. All other gurks are yellow. Mission lairs will not spawn a king. The reclusive gurk king has light armor and about 10k to 12k HAM. Not too tough to take down.

not entirely true on the feral outside.. ive killed a few lairs today that were 'nests' w/ only 2 gurks and a whelp, and a king and his shaggy kids spawned

OMG I USED TO MAKE TEH ARMOURZ.
