I am reasonably new to master armorsmith, and have noticed one thing about experimenting. When I first started out I was only experimenting with one or two points each experiment. I was in a hurry making prototype uniform armor for someone and experimented 7 each time and noticed that I have just as much moderate and critical failures as when I was only doing 1 or 2 experimentation points each time. Do any other armorsmiths have an opinion on this. There may be something I am missing.

Keep reading the forums there are plenty of posts about the number of critical failures.

At master level, you are best off dumping around ~3 points at a time. You still have a good chance of a great success, the more points you use the harder great and amazings are to get, fewer points and they won't have any real effect because it won't be spread over enough points.
Also, be sure and wait until you get a really good schematic(one with all great/amazing successes) before you make a factory run.

Quick question. When you are experimenting on your posions / subcomponents do you dump all the point you can into the tree you are experimenting on or do you go a few points at a time?
