Just starting to change professions and not used a crafting macro for a month or 2 and I'm having a real problem working out what number specific schmetics are. Can any1 help me pls?
I used to just be able to count down the list for a particular crafting stations items and you would be there or there abouts but my list doesn't seem to be in any order at all now. Has this changed sometime recently or have i done something noobish to alter the list order?
thx for the help in advance

Somebody had the bright idea to sort the schematics, but you can turn it off ... you just probably didn't notice, it not being a problem until you start grinding again.

I'm here to help
I just recently started using my old crafting macro again, to respec some of my characters.
I read this tip somewhere awhile ago, and finally tried it out, and got it to work great - you'll NEVER NEED SCHEM NUMBERS in your macro AGAIN!
Ya know that line in your crafting macro that says "/ui action selectDraftSchematic 11" or whatever?
Anywhere you have the selectDraftSchematic command, replace it with the following:
/pause 1
/ui action defaultButton
Ok, now that you've done that, get yourself ready to grind with your macro as usual. But first, open up one of the tools you'll be grinding with and select the item you'd like to build from the list in your tool. Now click "Next."
You should be at the window where you can put ingredients into the schematic.
Hit Esc and close the window, or just click on the little "x" in the upper right corner.
Now, launch your crafting macro!
The default selected item is what you first selected with your tool, and will continue to be until you log out - even when you learn new schematics from training!
The pause 1 is needed to allow the tool to load up, then the defaultButton command automatically clicks Next for you, and brings you to the Add Resources window. In high lag area, you may want to increase that pause to pause 2, to allow the tool more time to load up.
Voila! Never screw with schematic numbers again, just select your chosen item to grind on, close out the window, and then launch the macro!
This will also let you use the same crafting macro with any type of tool, and never have to change the macro again
Just use the desired tool, select the desired item to build, close the tool, then fire up the macro.
Hope that helps!
