I'd say yes you can since this is as simple as changing your clothing after the assembly and prior to experimentation. An easy way to do this would be to put your clothing on a toolbar so all you would have to do is press a function key to change the clothes

before the nerf no it would not work as in i started crafting process and before any experimenting equipped my clothes that gave me 12 exp points and still only got 10 pts because i figure i wasnt wearing them when i booted the station.
it is after the nerf so who knows now

Is it possible to have one 25 pt. exp. suit and a 25 pt. ass. suit and switch them out during the crafting phases? Like i go to craft a segment with the assembly suit on then when it comes time for experimentation to switch to the other suit? Sorry if this is a dumb question.
