Thread: RIS becoming more common?

It seems that recently (since around the CU) that I see the subject of RIS popping up more recently. Has RIS become more popular and are there more sets these days? LOL its not like I can afford a set anyways.

I think its because the components drop more these days and everyone was basically holding their RIS components waiting on the CU so now that it has hit all the suits are finally getting crafted.

As far as the components dropping more these days I'm not so sure about that. I could sit and solo the GDK all day pre-CU, now that thing is like CL 180 and I need friends to do so and it drops about the same or less. Myself and all AS I knew went crazy crafting as many suits of RIS pre-CU as we possibly could due to the fact that we didn't know what the future held for it. I haven't crafted any RIS post-CU, and don't really know anyone who has.....

The GDK at Kimo Town is level 81 and spawns every 10 minutes or so, at least on Scylla. People are getting a fair number of scales off of him.

Yeah GDKs are lvl 81ish maybe 82 not very hard anymore and dont even disease! Gotta love that. From my experience they also spawn 3 at a time instead of 1, 3 seperate times. Arent that hard to pull tho.

I don't know if that's true among Scylla's player, but I DID see a rebel NPC (a rebel sand rat) strutting around Anchorhead in a fully matched suit of the plum color RIS last night.
