Thread: Does Health Enhancement effect Sockets in Armor?

I just ordered a full set of RIS armor with around 350 Health Enhancement but am wondering if these enhancements will in any way effect the number of sockets I'll have available for Skilltapes. Please excuse my ignorance on this matter.

No, the number of sockets is random.

Actually I believe, the randomness of the sockets are also affected by your assembly bonus


**Don't flame me if I am wrong, but I find with a +25 Armor Assembly I rarely get less then 3 sockets.**

+25 assembly, force sensitive crafting...they are all theories and it doesn't hurt to have if you can, but it hasn't been proven to affect sockets...not saying it doesn't though.

it does really become superstition as to sockets and assembly bonus you'd need ALOT of test results to check. but personal experience hints that with no extra skill tapes i rarely get a 4 socket, with +20 i rarely get less than 3.
