I am trying to find what resources are used to make max energy protection assault cores, any help is appreciated.

A list of the resources is in the stickies. It's the schematics list.
You will, of course, need very good resources to cap assault cores, but there's no way we can tell you what they should be. There are too many possible combinations. If ALL your resources were 900+ OQ and SR, you'd cap easily, but I certainly don't have that luxury.
Focus first on your segments. The higher these are, the easier it is to cap your cores with poor resources. Get them above 900. How high depends on how good your core resources are. I can cap recon armor with a 965 segment and battle with a 922 segment. 908 is as high as my assault segments will go, which leave me a few points short of capping those cores. I'll use a resource deed to improve my weakest core resource (probably Dath fiberplast), and then I'll be able to cap those cores.
I do not mass produce capped armor. I save it for special orders, faction, BH, RIS, health-enhanced suits, and the like. My grinding suits are usually a couple hundred points below caps; battle is even lower.

Thank you, yeah thats what I am using these for. I have BH schems and want to make the best for this and my RIS.

I should have read more closely to see that you were particularly interested in energy protection. Of course the best you can ever get using energy layers in assault armor is 6200, which would gimp your kinetic down to 5800. The max stats with primus layers would be 7600 kinetic 5600 energy. The difference between 6200 and 5600 protection is only about two or three percentage points.
Note that RIS is battle armor and has even stats across the board when not layered. Energy layered battle armor will have a cap of 7200 energy 4800 kinetic using energy layers and 6600 kinetic and energy using primus layers.
