Sorry for the post as I am sure this has been mentioned but the stupid search isnt working. I have a suit of Pre CU RIS. I noticed the condition sucks compared to the post CU stuff. Can anything be done with it?

Yeah, you can break it down and get an RIS segment that contains all the creature loot. You lose anything else that was used to make the armor, but that's okay because you can't use it now anyway. Just take that segment to your favorite armorsmith who simply uses it along with a crafted battle core and some other ingredients to make your RIS.

The protection of the RIS will be no different than the smith's other battle armor but the condition will be much higher, as you have noted.

Ok that makes sense. One more question then. Since the armor is in almost perfect condition should I run around hunting with it till it gets beat to all hell then take it apart and have it rebuilt? Would it still have new condition?

Up to you. No matter how beat up the RIS is, the segment you get from it will be fine and have no effect on the new armor.

Just make sure not to die with the segments after you have the RIS broken down, or they will be usless

Okay, so the only nice thing about RIS then is that it has much higher condition than other battle armor? Wow, and People ADK this instead of getting a slightly cheeper set to ADK to the same effect...

Go figure...but it is rare and expensive so they don't want to lose it.

Also, if you get some good parts, you can craft RIS armor with a 350 Health bonus. This is a nice bonus to have, and because it is hard to get this bonus(and the suits usually VERY expensive) this would not be a bad suit to ADK. That is of course if you can afford to get that many ADK's.
