anyone taken a pre-CU helm and converted it to a Mandalorian Armor Helmet Schematic? I just did that and now I need to craft it. I have the master DE and some of the resources but need some info from someone who did it. DE forum is dead so I am hoping one of you guys did it. I learned the schematic and kinda see whats needed. and no you dont have to craft it in the DWB

Try to find a Master Armorsmith/Master DE combo so you get full color palette.

I thought you just needed the AS for the parts and nothing more?

You're going to need two identical assault armor cores to put into the armor. Since you're putting them into a Mandalorian helmet, you're probably going to want them to be the best cores you can get. My suggestion would be to find one of the better armorsmiths on your server and have him make the two cores for you. You're going to want to have the cores made with layers, too. You'll most likely have to decide between energy layers or primus layers. Energy layers will raise the energy resists, butlower the kinetic resists, and in the end you'll get stats that are about the same as unlayered battle armor. Primus layers will boost both energy and kinetic, but they will lower the elemental resists. If you plan on using the helmet to hunt Jedi, then you'll probably want to go with energy layers. If you plan on using it for general PvE and PvP, then I'd say go with the Primus Layers. You should also try to get health enhancers for the armor. A single peice of armor can have a total of +50 health on it. You can get +15 of that health with a single Peko Peko Albatross feather. You should be able to find one cheap on the vendor search. You can then have any RIS certified armorsmith craft that feather into what is known as a Feathered Appearance Enhancer. You then put this enhancer into the armor during the final combine. Despite its name, this enhancer doesn't change the appearance of the armor at all. It just adds +15 health. (Some say it adds +20 if you use a pre-CU feather.) The other health enhancers have to be built into the armor segments by the armorsmith before he puts the cores together. You'll need to find a stack of ten or more Rancor Hides that have +12 health or higher. You could also use three seperate stacks of four identical enhancers. If you go with three seperate stacks, just make sure that if you took one enhancer from each stack they will total up to at least +35, i.e., two stacks of +15s and a stack of +5s. In the end your armorsmith should give you back two identical cores that both say they have at least +35 health on them. You then put both of these into the Mandalorian Helmet schem along with the Feathered Appearance Enhancer. The other resourses listed on the schematic will determine how much condition the helmet has, though if you're smart you'll be putting an ADK on it, so the final condition doesn't matter that much.

You need soem AS components to actually make this piece of armour, a battle layor, and some synth cloth i believe. Also some creature resource... can't remember what, perhaps wooly hide.

There's only 1 line to experiment on, so 10pts will max it out, the dumb thing is, you don't get to use your DE colors... you can only pick from Armour smith colors, so unless you have the customization line of and/or master AS, your color palette BLOWS GOATS... stupid dev's... it should have it's own seperate color palette that is the same no matter what pieceis being crafted, by the appropriate proffession, so ppl can get a matching suit!!!

I know there's more information about, but your best bet is to contact a good armorsmith on your server. You'll get the cores from him to use in crafting your helmet.

It's assault armour so u'll need assault cores from the AS, it uses the exact same components as composite armour. I'd also recomend getting rancor hides, kimo scales or kryat scales with +15 health and a peko peko feather for it. and RIS certified AS can make the peko peko feather into a health bonus item.

Unfortunatly the palette is bugged and being an MAS/MDE DOESN'T fix it. So unless ur happy to use the bugged palette I'd w8 til they fix it. The bugged palette has a fewdifferent greys (8 pale greys,8 blueish greys,8 dark greys and 8 greenish ones) and also 8 shades of bronze. If the DE crafting the helm has +25 Droid Customisation on his clothes then u get an extra 10 colours, the first is a set of 8 even darker greys (ending in black) and then the first 2 shades of the white/silver set.

Personally I'm w8ing until they fix it cuz I want my mando do be gold with a black undersuit.
