Thread: Armor Customization Idea

Greetings. Recently returning to SWG after a three month break, I was saddened to discover I can no longer customize the color of my composite armor as I could pre-CU. So first I would like to know why did that change? Second is my idea to reinstate color customizing. Why not give Armorsmiths a scematic for an [drum roll] Armor Color Customization Tool. Starships, speeders, and droids have them so why not armor? This way you don't have to bother an Armorsmith with special orders just to get the colors you want.
While we're at it, how about the introduction of [da-da-da DA] an Armor Texture Customization Tool. I think this would be a cool addition to the game. With this tool you could addmultiple colors to one piece of armor inmany different patterns, plus add symbols, logos, carvings, and fancy patterns to the armor piece to make it your own.
So what do you guys think?

This idea... nay, demand, has been floating around quite a lot during your absence.

I still think it's almost a necessity now since there is nothing to grind with the removal of the AUK. Two birds, one stone.

First off, the color change option for composite was supposed to be a temporary option, butthe devsnever took it out ofthe game for some reason. This was like a year and a half ago.
Starships, droids and speeders are all machines. Armor is clothing. If Armors gets a coloring kit, the next bunch of peoplewould want one for normal clothing. This will never happen.
Although I agree it's a good idea, I don't think the devs will ever put such a kit in the game.
