Its Composite. You use Composite Segemants and Resources. There is 3 types the other 2 are Padded and Chitin.

must say the yreally took did the easy solution here huh

Not that I mind too much as I dont have to go out and look for even more resources

If they did make it that it needed new resources most smiths wouldn't make it, just the same as wook armor.
