Thread: Best unsliced comp armor??

Don't know if anyone has seen this or not but Greyskull from bloodfin has been able to make some amazing armor. I'm just trying to think in my mind how in the world he did it.

It is really easy, first off he is a 12 points AS. Then he had 3 layers, one blast, one energy and one kinetic. after that it is a simple matter of experimenting with good resources. Keuller on bloodfin made this stuff about 4 weeks ago, only 72 base, but I bet he could have easily hit 73. But if you think of it in slicing to hit 90% with either you only need a 1% difference in slice effectivness, so why waste the resources to hit 73% when you can make more of the 72%.

I had a run of the following:
80% Electric
80% Energy
80% Kinetic
4% Stun
70% Base

Thats some nice stuff, i know someone who made something similar, but with 13% stun and 72 base....the problem is that this stuff really does not sell because people want high base stun armor.

my 80% kin/energy/elec 9% stun sold very well (71%base)
I don't think that his is the best unsliced because he needs stun resists

It was 80 Ele/80 Kin/80 En/13 Stun/70 base, not 72.
My 80 Blast/80 Energy/80 Kinetic/80 Ele has 72% base, and yes, 73 base was possible, but by leaving it at 72 I was able to put a whole extra point (4 total) into HAM on the final combine.

Thanks for the good word. BTW, The'One and Keuller/Ais are either the same person orare good friends, because they tend to /bump each other all of the time. I don't really know why he dislikes me, but he tries to trash me in all of my threads. I had neither seen nor heard of his 4x80/72 stuff, but he thinks that I 'stole' his idea. In truth, I saw Tremorlaine's concoction (80/80/80/4/70) on Bria and decided to make a variation of it. Some people just don't understand that one person can't have all of the business and still have fun in the game.

I'm still a wee armorsmith waiting to find a +2 armorsmith exp ca to hit 12pt. And then I will see if i can make what you made greyskull
